Life insurance

Just wondering, Do you have life insurance? Why or why not. I am a little curious, because we have insurance for everything else, such as auto, home, health, and so on. But it has been my experience that most people do not have life insurance. When life is full of uncertainty, why wouldn’t you?

Maybe we just don’t want to talk about it, I mean we are talking about death/sickness/disability. Kinda depressing.

But the rich have life insurance, they believe in it, because it helps with estate taxes, and gives their loved ones time to and money while they are waiting for probate, Also life insurance creates an estate faster than any thing else.

Maybe some of us can’t afford it, I say you can’t afford not too. What would happen to your family if you did not come home today, or you had a heart attack, maybe cancer. Cancer does not care who it attacks. Would your family be able to pay the house payment? would they be able to eat.

I think the most unselfish thing a person can do is have life insurance. It means that your loved ones will be taken care of after you are gone or during a life threatening illness. The average funeral cost $7300.00, and that does not include travel or lodging.

Beware of credit life insurance, example something that pays for a loan when you die. If you have a mortgage and you refinance, your credit life insurance cancels, or if you sell your home it cancels, you have to reapply every time. This is sad because most people do don’t realize this.

Every time you reapply for credit life insurance you risk the possibility of being insurable, (your have a sickness that is not covered) also as you get older premiums are higher.

The solution the credit life insurance, buy a term policy, preferably one that gives you return of premium if you never use it. Term is also cheaper, than whole life.

However whole life is good to have if you get it young, because it is cheaper, builds cash value, policy loans may be available and so one.

Anyway I would like to know why you have Life insurance or you don’t.

Pentagon resources and U.S. troops may be used if needed to quell protests and Bank runs during an economic crisis, the U.S. Army War College’s Strategic Institute reported.

“Widespread civil violence inside the United States would force the defense establishment to reorient priorities in extremis to defend basic domestic order and human security,” the War College study states.

Incidents of economic collapse, terrorism and disruption of legal order could require deployment of forces within the U.S.

It has now been 12 months since gun owners in Australia were forced by new law to surrender 640,381 personal firearms to be destroyed by their own government, a program costing Australia taxpayers more than $500 million dollars. The first year results are now in:

List of 7 items:
Australia-wide, homicides are up 3.2 percent
Australia-wide, assaults are up 8.6 percent
Australia-wide, armed robberies are up 44 percent (yes, 44 percent)!

In the state of Victoria alone, homicides with firearms are now up 300 percent. Note that while the law-abiding citizens turned them in, the criminals did not, and criminals still possess their guns!

While figures over the previous 25 years showed a steady decrease in armed robbery with firearms, this has changed drastically upward in the past 12 months, since criminals now are guaranteed that their prey is unarmed.

There has also been a dramatic increase in break-ins and assaults of the ELDERLY. Australian politicians are at a loss to explain how public safety has decreased, after such! monumental effort and expense was expended in successfully ridding Australian society of guns. The Australian experience and the other historical facts above prove it.

You won’t see this data on the US evening news, or hear politicians disseminating this information.

Guns in the hands of honest citizens save lives and property and, yes, gun-control laws adversely affect only the law-abiding citizens.

Take note my fellow Americans, before it’s too late!

The next time someone talks in favor of gun control, please remind them of this history lesson.
With guns, we are ‘citizens’. Without them, we are ‘subjects’.

During WWII the Japanese decided not to invade America because they knew most Americans were ARMED!

The reality

I’m sure everyone has heard that the three big auto makers are asking the government for money. (25 billion) Bail us out their crying. I am a little mystified by this. No one bailed my family and I out, when we had a financial crisis. The government did not come running to help us. Nor did we ask for help. My family and I got into the financial mess, (being responsible) we felt

we were the ones to get us out of the mess. It wasn’t easy, but we are better off today.

What really gets me is, people think the government should bail out the auto makers. Where do you think the government is going to get the money to do this? Apparently some people think the government has a lot of money just sitting around. Well they can just print more money some say. PRINTING MORE MONEY LEADS TO INFLATION.

Many of us (who live on a budget), have noticed our grocery bills have gotten higher. Some think its because of the price of gas. Well the high price of gas certainly contributes to high prices, because higher prices are passed on to the consumer.

Think about this-the price of gas has come down-has your grocery bill? Oh you say gas prices have only been down for a little while, it’ll take time for the price of other things to come down. That is hogwash and you know it. Once the price goes up, it hardly ever comes down, especially on necessity items like food. Inflation at work.

Anyway back to the auto makers.
They have been in trouble for quit awhile. I don’t know about you, but in my life if something is not working, I try to find out how to make it work better, or go back to the drawing board and start over.

Henry Ford would rather go bankrupt, than have the government in his business, he would never even think to ask the government for help. He would have helped himself.

I don’t know many people who can afford a house payment and a new vehicle payment. The price of vehicles is outrageous. I cant justify paying 20 to 40 thousand on something that depreciates in value faster that you can pay it off.

FYI-if the government bails them out, you the tax payer are going to pay for it.

Which wouldn’t be so bad, except what an I getting out of this deal. (screwed) I would like a new vehicle of my choice every year for the next ten years FREE.

That’s not going to happen, I don’t what to pay for some one Else’s mistakes.

By the way here are some ways the government makes money, TAXES

However with a weak economy, there is the possibility of job loss. I feel that the auto makers should cut expenses just like every one else. What about all the jobs lost, Our New President wants to extend unemployment benefits, so there should be no worries about jobs. Who is going to pay for that, you say. You guessed it MR and MRS TAXPAYER.

The harsh reality is-someone is going to pay ether way-

Note-the reason I do not capitalize government is….they have not earned my respect-

Beware of the official making promises they cant keep

Depression/Business cycles

What causes depression? The answer inflation. Depression is the correction to inflation. During a depression, business go broke, people become poor, and there is high unemployment, all of this is caused by inflation. When governments stop inflating, there is concern about a depression, so they start inflating again to stop a depression. When governments stop a depression before it is full blown, the economy goes into a recession. That’s why we have inflation, recession, inflation, recession, and over and over it goes. Politicians inflate until they fear rising prices, Then they stop inflating because of high unemployment. Then they start inflating again. This cycle is called the business cycle. Each time there is an inflation, it gives business people a false sense of security, and they make mistakes. Such as expanding, hiring more people, not having enough in reserve for a recession. So each correction needs to be worse than the last. Each recession, needs a little more inflation than the last to correct the mistakes. The control of a recession depends on how mush inflation is slowed.
How to tell if we are in a depression or a recession. If inflation is slowed down or stopped for a few months, then we are in a recession. If inflation stops for years, we are in a depression. Inflation must be stopped permanently, for the economy to recover on solid ground. Depression usually involves, deflation. A deflation is………the amount of money to go down, causing money to be valuable, and prices fall. Recessions and depressions are related to the bad policy of inflation. As I said earlier, inflation gives a false sense of security, causing people to spend more, and make mistakes. Example of this is the current housing market. People had the sense that everything was going good, and bought houses the could not afford, thinking the economy was in great shape. Now there are foreclosures and people are losing their homes, because they made a bad choice.
It may appear that the government is rescuing the economy when they inflate, (the FED drops interest rates) to stop a recession or depression, in reality it only postpones more inflation cycles.
Many years ago no one understood the business cycles, no one new what caused it. We know now that business cycles are caused by the amount of money being shifted up and down.
It’s important to realize that officials would like to stop inflating, they do not like rising prices either. But officials have been inflating for years, and if they stop inflating a depression will happen. Once in awhile they stop inflating for awhile. As a result, there is a recession, examples of these are: 1970, 1975, 1982, 1990. Most officials are afraid to stop inflation all together, because they fear depression. The economy is so disorganized now, that the number of dollars officials print to stop depression is probably greater than than the number they print to finance their spending. The only way to never have a recession or a depression is to never inflate. which is a real problem, since inflation had been going on for years. it will be very hard to stop.
Remember this, inflation is just like taxes, it is one of the prices we pay to have big government.

Power in an envelope

From smart phones to desktops, it seems everyone is held in the grip of electronic communication. It may seem that computers help to speed up communication through e-mail. What have we gained and what have we lost over hand written letters? E-mails were not meant to be personal. Just how personal can a computer be? Of course, it takes a human to type text and hit the send button. An e-mail can be printed, but seeing the same typed text on a clean sheet of paper does not have the uniqueness of a handwritten letter. A handwritten letter is thoughtful, and when carefully folded and placed in an envelope, it feels real and honest. E-mails feel cold, flat and tend to dehumanize the communication experience. Something else to consider, most of us have relatives that may not own a computer and don’t see the need for one. Are they going to be left out of family events, when invitations are sent electronically?

Handwritten letters contain personality, warmth, charm, and intimacy. They can be stored and reread by the reader later, transporting the reader back in time, remembering the wonderful relationship they have with the sender. Some people not only like receiving letters, they also like the stamp on the envelope. A stamp may represent a physical place, reminding them of the time they spent at the sender’s home. A stamp may also hold a historical significance not only to collectors but to families as well. Imagine reading a letter a distant relative wrote to a family member, during the Civil War. Not only did that relative write letters, he illustrated places and things he saw. Giving his family members a richer experience, and a better understanding of what was happening at the time. Letter’s, such as these are not only thoughtful, but become historical records making them true treasures indeed.

Hand written letters are timeless, intimate, and tangible. Everyone likes to receive a letter from someone they care about. The letter is like a gift in an envelope. Not only is the sender being thoughtful, he has made the receiver feel important. Occasionally we all like to feel important, and may need a little cheering up. E-mail just doesn’t hit the mark and will never hold sentimental value that handwritten letters do.

Way to Go

This is good stuff…..a 70 yr. old woman defends herself and her property. This the best news I have heard all day.

The Suspect boke into this lady’s home, which was a big mistake on his part, because she had a gun, then claimed to police he was being chased.

brown-cyrus

What a bunch of hogwash. Even if he was being chased, he boke into this lady’s home. Thank God this lady was ready.

If you break into my home, I’m going to assume you mean to do me harm. There is a diffrence in knocking on the door and asking for help, if you break into my home I will defend what is mine. Meaning my life my family and their live’s.

For the whole story

Right to Bear Arms

A well regulated militia, being necessary to the security of a free state, the right of the people to keep and bear Arms, shall not be infringed.

With the economy in bad shape the number of home invasions, robberys, breakins is only going to increase.

Protect your self and those you Love.

To Little Caylee

I said a prayer for you last night, in fact I have said several prayers for you. I asked the Lord to find you. I asked the Lord to take you pain away.
He has He welcomed you with open arms, and held you, He made you feel safe and secure. He warmed your heart and your soul.
He then sent you to play with the Angels.
You little Caylee have found your home, and will be safe in the arms of the Lord.
Thank you Jesus
