Do you believe that the devil has disciple’s? Why not, if Jesus did, wouldn’t be fair to say the devil does to. If you don’t believe this, then let me tell you a story.
The devil was sitting on his throne one day, thinking about all he had accomplished in the world. As he sat and mulled over his accomplishments, he concluded that there was little left for him to do. Those who would do his bidding were already under his influence, those who remained unpersuaded by his powers would not be won over. A few might be convinced to move from one side to the other, and there was always new comers to entice, but it was all getting pretty mundane. The seed of thought began to grow. Within minutes, he had made a decision. He was going to retire and take a well earned rest~as soon as he found a suitable replacement. “Who will be my successor? ” he wondered, as he sat silent for a long time, contemplating the choice. Then he came up with a test for his three senior disciples~…Illusion, Deceit, and Procrastination. “I bide you only this,” said satan. “Bring me the greatest single lie that can be told to mankind. Think well and long, for he who returns with the best answer shall be my successor.” The next day the three were summoned to the devils throne room. Satan sat there looking grim, and as the three bowed to him satan said, “The decision I make today will change the course of history……………To be continued………..
