Mexican truckers

Should Mexican truck drivers be allowed to travel freely through the United States. My opinion is no.
Have these drivers passed tests that allow them to drive on our roads? I highly doubt it, and to consider what it takes for Americans to get a CDL. Now we have Mexicans who enter when they want because they drive a truck.
Can you imagine the illegals that are going to get in this way. Not to mention terrorist activity, drugs, and taking more American jobs. We do allow Canadians to enter the U.S., and American truck drivers do enter Canada. Last time I checked Canadians were not coming to this country illegally.

U.S. officials are saying that these truck drivers are being screened and tested for drugs. Can Official assure us that these Mexican truck drivers are going to leave when they come here. Can we be assured that Mexican drivers have legal documents. If they are being screened like immigration screens we are going to have another mess on our hands.
This last fall 44 Mexican drivers from seven Mexican companies entered the U.S.. The Powerful Teamsters Union opposes this; saying that Mexican drivers are not properly licensed, or tested for drugs.
U.S. officials say this project could save both countries $400 million in transportation costs.
Makes you wonder what kind of deal Bush made with the Mexican President, that we don’t know about.
